Pastoral Counseling is available on request.
Visiting Ministry
A visit from any member of our congregation is valued by our nursing and retirement home residents and our shut-ins. They are not forgotten! And it is through our pastoral care programs that we are, in part, living out the compassion that Christ calls us to.
Mail Ministry
Each month a pastoral letter and a service leaflet are delivered to our homebound and shutin members. If you would be willing to assist with the delivery and share a little TLC with these special friends, please call the office.
Tapes of Sunday Services are made weekly. Call the office to book a tape and arrange pickup or delivery.
Home Communions to Homebound and Shutins are shared by Minister Michael and our Pastoral Care team twice yearly and on request. If you would like a visit and receive the Lord’s supper, please contact the office. You are an important part of our Northminster Family and we look forward to sharing this time with you.
Seasonal Flowers
Plants are delivered to our sick, and homebound members as well as those in Seniors Residences. If you would like to sponsor a plant and/or deliver a plant, please contact the Northminster office.
We want to share in your joys and sorrows. Keep us informed of members and friends in hospital or in pastoral need. Our staff and Pastoral team visit regularly.
Intercessory Prayer Group
The intercessory prayer group is available to hold up special concerns and joys to God. Prayer requests may be placed on the offering plate or by calling the Northminster office.
90th and above Birthdays and 50th and above anniversaries are marked by lighting our Celebration Candle in Worship.
The Special Needs Service, for those who find our 10:00 a.m. service difficult to attend, will be held October 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with special music, a message and Holy Communion. The service will be followed by Tea and fellowship in Wright Hall. This is an exciting afternoon! Plan to attend.
Northminster is a growing Church - with a caring ministry!
